Introduction

It's that time of year again! On Saturday 22 May 2010, A team from the Greenhithe Volunteer Firebrigade will once again be racing to the top of Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower.

2010 is our fith year of particpating and we'd like to make it the most successful in terms of the funds we raise for the Leukaemia & Blood Foundation (LBF)

51 flights - or 1,103 Sky Tower steps - wearing full fire-fighting kit and breathing apparatus weighing up to 25kg ... we'll do the hard work, training between now and then... even Steve, who's on crutches right now, has promised to get himself ready.
